Black Stars defender Alexander Djiku has reacted to Ghana’s 3-2 win over South Korea in their second 2022 World Cup Group game on Monday.
The Strasbourg star who started the game from the bench made an impressive cameo to help the West African giants seal all three points in a thrilling encounter at the Education City Stadium.
Ghana raced to a two goal lead in the first half courtesy of goals from Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus.
However, the Koreans fought back in the second half as Cho Gue-Sung headed twice in the space of three minutes to restore parity.
Kudus scored the match-winner for the Black Stars in the 63rd minute to keep their hopes of reaching the 1/16 stage alive.
Ghana will try to book their place in the next round when they go head-to-head with Uruguay on Friday, while South Korea must bounce back when they take on Portugal.
