The Christmas edition of the Women’s Football Festival is set to animate the Bantama Astro Turf this weekend as Match Day 7 of the 2025/26 women’s football season unfolds on Saturday, December 27.

Proceedings get underway at 1:00 PM with Ashtown Ladies coming up against FC Savannah in the opening fixture of the day.

With the season gradually taking shape, both teams will be keen to collect vital points and strengthen their early positions on the table.

The encounter is expected to test discipline, resilience and tactical awareness as neither side can afford to slip.

Later in the afternoon, attention turns to the 4:00 PM clash featuring Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies and Dreamz Ladies.

That fixture promises excitement, with both teams recognised for their attacking flair and technical approach.

Beyond the results, the festival continues to serve as a key stage for uncovering young talent.

It also reinforces ongoing efforts to grow and promote the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League nationwide.
