Women’s Euros: A look at all-time highest attendances

The inaugural Women’s European Championships took place in 1984, with Sweden, England, Denmark, and Italy competing in a four-team event.

Since the original tournament 38 years ago, the championships have increased tremendously in terms of the number of competing nations, media attention, and attendance, and Euro 2022 might be the biggest yet.

With tickets selling quickly with both Wembley and Old Trafford being used for Euro 2022, the summer might see a number of new attendance records shattered.
