Head coach of Bibiani Gold Stars, Frimpong Manso, has tempered expectations, insisting that winning the 2024/2025 title is not the team’s primary focus at the moment.
The Miners are currently on top of the league table after seven games, with 15 points.
Despite the odds favoring his team, Manso explained that winning the league isn’t their main priority for now.
“For the time being, we have not set a specific goal, but as a team, we aim to gain the most points possible from each game and complete the season in a respectable place, he told Akoma FM.
“All I’m trying to say is that it’s too early to predict whether or not we’ll win it, we’ll go into each game with a winning mentality and see what happens.”
Bibiani Gold Stars will face a tricky trip to Accra Hearts of Oak in their next fixture.
