An explanation for Divock Origi missing out for Liverpool against Wolves has been provided.
The Reds are set to face off with Wolves on Sunday afternoon, kicking off at 4 pm UK time alongside the Premier League’s other 18 clubs.
Liverpool must win the game to stand any chance of pipping Manchester City to the English top-flight title.
The Sky Blues sit one point ahead of Liverpool on the final day, meaning a win over Aston Villa would ensure Pep Guardiola of a 4th English title.

Ahead of their own meeting with Wolves, Liverpool released their starting line-up an hour before kick-off.
The XI proved fairly strong but did see Jurgen Klopp opt to leave fitness doubts Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk on the bench, presumably due to the Champions League final fast approaching next weekend.
Elsewhere, Divock Origi, who is due to leave Liverpool for free this summer, missed out altogether.
And the Merseysiders have since explained why the Belgian has been forced to sit out what would have been his final appearance at Anfield, confirming that Origi is dealing with a minor muscle issue:
