Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director Henry Asante Twum has praised the improved performance of Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
According to him, the improvement of both sides is non negotiable given how their performances directly affects the league.
“Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have been on a patchy run of form but this weekend they won,” he said on TV3’s sports station, highlighting the impact of their success on the league.
Twum noted that the wins have contributed to a positive atmosphere, with fewer issues regarding officiating. “It’s been good. We haven’t had so many issues regarding officiating. This weekend it was clean,” he added.
The GFA Communications Director also commended the improved coverage of the league, saying, “Coverage has improved.”
Asante Twum’s comments reflect the growing excitement and optimism surrounding the Ghana Premier League, with top teams like Kotoko and Hearts of Oak putting on impressive performances.
Kotoko beat Dreams FC 1-0 while Hearts of Oak were winners against Nations FC.
