We hope fit-again Thomas Partey brings change; makes an impact for us, says Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta

Manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has indicated that he is counting on Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey to make an impact for the team in the remainder of the football season.

The Black Stars midfielder on Monday night made a full recovery from his five-month injury layoff to feature for the Gunners in their clash against Sheffield United in the English Premier League.

After his introduction in the game in the 65th minute to replace Jorginho, Thomas Partey did well by ensuring Arsenal continued to control the game for the rest of the contest.

For Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, it is a delight to have the midfielder back in his squad.

Speaking before kick-off, the Spanish tactician said “We are happy to have Thomas Partey back to the squad. He is a big player and we hope he brings change and makes an impact.”

In the game against Sheffield United, Arsenal proved to have too much quality as the team hammered the opponent 6-0 at the end of the 90 minutes.

Up next for the team, the side will take on Brentford next Saturday.
