Walid Regragui has insisted Morocco will not be distracted by controversy as they prepare to face Nigeria in the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Moroccan coach revealed that he shields his players from criticism and external pressure, urging them to remain focused on their football.
“I tell the players that we shouldn’t pay attention to the criticism,” he said. “When you coach Morocco, you must accept that everyone will criticise you.”
Morocco will face the Super Eagles at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah on Wednesday, with a place in the AFCON final at stake.
