WAFU B U20 Girls Cup: Come and support Black Princesses to beat Benin on Saturday – Coach Yussif Basigi to Ghanaians

The head coach of the Ghana U20 Girls national team, Coach Yussif Basigi has confirmed that the team is ready for the start of the WAFU B U20 Girls Cup of Nations tournament.

“We came to train for an hour and you can see the mood in camp is positive and the players are ready for the game against Benin.

“For injury situation in camp, we are working closely with the medical team and they have assured us of no injury concern in camp. We have our full squad fit for the game tomorrow,” Coach Yussif Basigi said as quoted by the Ghana FA on its website.

In his pre-match interview, Coach Basigi appealed to Ghanaians to troop to the stadium to support the Black Princesses.

”We entreat all Ghanaians to come to the stadium in their numbers to support and cheer us to victory,” the Ghanaian tactician noted.

Ghana takes on Benin tomorrow in the opening game of the 2023 WAFU Zone B Cup of Nations tournament.

The tournament is being staged in Kumasi, Ghana.
