Ardent football fans in the Volta Region have launched a crusade calling on the government to build a sports stadium in the region.
To most of them, lack of sports infrastructure has represented a major set back for all round sports development.
The region’s Ho Sports Stadium that was built in 1957 is yet to see any form of renovation since time immemorial.
The edifice, which is the only facility the region can boast of, has broken chairs, cracked walls patched field, dilapidated dressing rooms and no water.
