Medeama SC defender, Vincent Atinga has been adjudged the best Ghana Premier League player for the 2022/23 season.
Atinga fought off competition from Hafiz Konkoni of Bechem United, Tamale City’s Sampson Eduku, Michel Otou of Legon Cities and Bibiani Gold Stars’ forward, Abednago Tetteh.
The centre-back was instrumental in Medeama’s maiden triumph of the Ghana Premier league title.
He scored 11 goals with nine coming from spot kicks.
Atinga hopes to help the Tarkwa-based side defend the trophy and impress in Africa.
They face Horoya of Guinea in the second round of the CAF Champions League.
