Ghanaian forward Prince Kwabena Adu has earned his maiden senior national team call-up ahead of the Black Stars’ international friendlies against Japan and South Korea later this month.
The 23-year-old has been in sensational form for Viktoria Plzen, delivering consistent goals and assists in both the Czech top flight and the UEFA Europa League this season. His impressive displays have caught the eye of coach Otto Addo, who has rewarded the youngster with a debut invitation.
Ghana will face Japan on November 14 in the 2025 Kirin Challenge Cup, before taking on South Korea four days later.
Adu has scored five goals in 14 league matches and added one goal in three Europa League appearances for Plzen this term.
A former Bechem United forward, Adu overcame multiple injury setbacks before moving abroad in 2023, featuring for Isloch (Belarus) and Kryvbas (Ukraine) before sealing a move to Plzen.
His current contract with the Czech giants runs until 2027, but his rising stock has already attracted interest from clubs in England, Italy, Germany, Sweden, and France ahead of the summer transfer window.
