Ghanaian international David Atanga scored for KV Oostende in their 4-1 win over Thes Sport in the round of 16 stage of the Belgian Cup .
The 25-year-old put up an impressive display to help his side progress to the next round of the Belgian Cup.
Atanga has made 14 appearances for Oostende, scored five goals and provided one assist so far this season.
Former Red Bull Salzburg ace bagged Oostende’s second goal in the 64th minute after Thierry Ambrose’s opening goal in the 55th minute.
He has been one of the standout players for Oostende, scoring three goals in five league appearances.
Oostende take on KV Westerlo next in the Jupiler Pro League on Saturday, November 12.
Atanga was not included in Ghana’s 55-man provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Atanga has played five times for Ghana at U20 level, winning four of those caps during the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
