Brandon Thomas-Asante scored in West Brom’s 3-3 draw with Chesterfield in the FA Cup Third Round on Saturday afternoon.
Within 90 seconds of the game’s opening in Derbyshire, Thomas-Asante scored to give West Brom the ideal start.
Five minutes later, though, a determined Spireites team got one back as Williams powerfully completed a short corner move.
With a second goal, Albion improved on an intriguing start. This time it was Adam Reach’s responsibility; his brilliant pass allowed Grant to dodge Ross Fitzsimons and give the visitors the lead once more.
Chesterfield, though, fought back and found a leveler. Dobra was able to side-foot into the top corner from 12 yards and make it 2-2 thanks to another rapid assault that created issues.
And the home team made sure they were ahead at the interval when Dobra scored on a rebound to excite the Spireites fans and give Albion plenty of work to do after the break.
Albion, on the other hand, would ensure victory with their final chance. Thomas-Asante jumped high to head home, sending the traveling supporters into ecstasies and setting up a rematch between the two sides.
