Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey run out of words to explain his emotions after helping Portland Timbers through to their first ever MLS Cup final on Sunday night.
The 27-year-old pulled off excellent saves as the side went on to secure a thrilling 2-2 draw with Dallas to clinch the Western Conference title with a 5-3 aggregate scoreline.
Portland Timbers’ triumph now sets up a date with Columbus Crew at the weekend for the 2015 MLS Cup.
And Adam Kwarasey who is just in his first season at Portland couldn’t muster the words to describe the feeling after attaining the immense achievement.
“It feels great. Tough game against a really good team and I can’t explain, I can’t put words on it, I am happy,” he said.
“Yes [about his impatience to play in the MLS Cup final], of course, it’s going to be a big one and I can’t wait.”
