Veteran Ghana goalie Richard Kingson yet to decide Great Olympics future

Experienced goalkeeper Richard Kingson says he is yet to decide his future for the demotion of Great Olympics from the Ghana Premier League.

Kingson, 37, was one of three experienced players signed by Olympics on short-term contracts for the second half of the season.

The former Birmingham and Blackpool goalkeeper alongside Godwin Attram and Dan Quaye were to use their vast experience to guide the predominant young Olympics side to retain their Premiership status.

But with the demotion of the Wonder club the future of the former Black Stars first choice goalkeeper hangs in the balance.

“It’s too early to mention what I have planned, because honestly, I haven’t decided on what next to do,” Kingson told Ghanafootballnews.

Great Olympics were demoted from the First Capital Plus in their final game of the season where they beat winners AshantiGold 2-1 but was not enough to save the club.
