Chelsea will miss the services of a number of their key stars when they play Manchester United in an English Premier League clash on Thursday night.
Mateo Kovacic, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Ben Chilwell are all out, and four more will be assessed ahead of the match.
Kovacic is expected to be back in the next one week, with Hudson-Odoi and Chilwell’s return dates still unclear.
“Kova will still be out, Ben Chilwell will be out, and Callum will still be out,” confirmed the Italian.
“Toni Rudiger was in training yesterday, the same for Reece James. Hopefully, they can do the full training today and give us a green light. We have hopes they can be in the squad and play tomorrow.
“It’s the same for Andreas. We will need another examination because he felt sick. He will come back to the training ground today.
“Ross Barkley is sick as well and will not be in the squad,”
Chelsea bounced back to three consecutive home defeats with a narrow 1-0 win at home against West Ham last weekend.
The teams settled for a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge.
