Arsenal and Thomas Partey have been eliminated by PSG in the Champions League semi-finals after 2-1 defeat in the second leg on Wednesday night.

The Gunners, who trailed 1-0 from the first leg, had their task further difficult when Fabian Ruiz netted to put the French ahead in the tie.

Achraf Hakimi added second to put the icing on the cake as Bukayo Saka’s effort was mere consolation.

Partey who returned to the starting eleven after missing out on the previous game due to suspension, could not help Arsenal stage a comeback.

The exit means Arsenal will end the season without trophy with Liverpool already crowned champions.
