Arsenal secured a resounding 5-1 victory over Manchester City in the English Premier League on Sunday, thanks in part to a crucial goal from Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey.

The match got off to a flying start, with Martin Odegaard scoring the opening goal in the second minute. The first half ended with Arsenal leading 1-0.

In the second half, Erling Haaland equalized for Manchester City in the 55th minute. However, Partey quickly restored Arsenal’s lead just one minute later.

Arsenal continued to dominate, with Myles Lewis Skelly, Kai Havertz, and Ethan Nwaneri all scoring to seal the 5-1 win.

The victory keeps Arsenal in second place with 50 points on the English Premier League table

Partey’s impressive performance brings his season totals to 23 games played with 3 goals scored and 2 assists
