These are the 2 players AXED by Otto Addo for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and Japan Tournament —

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has dropped these two players, who were in the squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup eliminator against Nigeria, from his 33-man squad to take on Madagascar and the Central African Republic in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers as well as the 4-Nation Tournament in Japan.

Addo released his squad and it was announced by the Ghana FA on Thursday morning.

Bechem United winger Augustine Okrah and Hearts of Oak attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh have been included in the squad while the German-based striker who said he didn’t deserve Black Stars has also been called up.

Meanwhile, two players who were in the squad against Nigeria have been dropped by the head coach.

Hearts of Oak’s Dennis Korsah who was handed his maiden call-up hasn’t been able to hold down his place in the squad and has been eliminated as a result.

Israel-based defender Montari Kamaheni who was also named in the squad has been dropped.
