Ghanaian attacker Bernard Tekpetey scored the winning goal as Ludogorets Razgrad defeated Levski Sofia 1-0 to claim the Bulgarian Super Cup title.
Tekpetey, who came off the bench in the 69th minute, headed home the decisive goal in the 70th minute after a precise cross from Son.
The match was a tight encounter, with Ludogorets dominating possession but struggling to create clear chances.
However, Tekpetey’s impact was immediate, and his goal secured Ludogorets’ 9th Bulgarian Super Cup title, adding to their 27th trophy overall.
Ludogorets coach Per-Mathias Högmo won his first trophy at the helm, and the team will now focus on their next league match against PFC Lokomotiv Sofia 1929.
