Medeama Sporting Club’s head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, has lauded his team’s impressive 4-0 win over Rospak SC in the MTN FA Cup, stating that the victory will boost their confidence ahead of their crucial Ghana Premier League match against Asante Kotoko.
“We had a great start, scoring an early goal that made things easier for us. We kept pushing and managed to score four goals at halftime. I believe we deserved the win,” Tanko said in a post-match interview.
The coach expressed confidence that the win will have a positive impact on his team’s upcoming clash against Asante Kotoko.
“Scoring four goals before a match against Asante Kotoko definitely gives us confidence. We’ll prepare well in training to ensure we secure a positive result,” he added.
Medeama SC will face off against Asante Kotoko on Sunday, November 30, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3 pm.
The match promises to be an exciting encounter between two Ghana Premier League giants.
