Swindon Town have made it clear that they want to keep Jojo Wollacott by offering him a new contract.
The club did not reveal the terms of the contract, but they are confident Wollacott will accept, sign the contract, and remain at the club.
Wollacott’s current deal with the club expires in June.
The 25-year-old wants to leave the English fourth division and play for a club in a top-flight league.
There are currently no offers on the table, but he remains optimistic about advancing.
Wollacott is Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper and is determined to keep that position before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Wollacott had a successful season, winning the Swindon Town best player award after helping the Black Stars beat Nigeria in the playoffs.
He was also named the best goalkeeper in League Two.
