Swedish giants Malmö FF have completed the signing of 18-year-old Ghanaian forward Yassin Mohammed.
The deal comes after the teenager impressed during an extended trial with the club’s U19 team.
Mohammed, who is a product of Ghana’s WAFA Academy, quickly caught the attention of Malmö’s technical staff with his pace, sharp positioning, and natural goal-scoring instincts.
Following his successful trial, the club offered Mohammed a contract, viewing him as a long-term asset within their development pipeline.
He is expected to kick off his Malmö career with the P19 team, where he’ll continue to hone his skills under close coaching and mentorship.
Seen as a rising star, Mohammed’s arrival reflects Malmö FF’s ongoing strategy to identify and cultivate young prospects capable of making an impact at the highest level.
