German-born Ghanaian defender Jan Gyamerahj has signed a two-year contract with SV Elversberg ahead of the new season.
The 30-year-old right-back joins from Kaiserslautern, where he made 23 league appearances in the just-ended campaign.
Gyamerah brings a wealth of experience to his new side, having played over 200 games in Germany’s second tier.
He previously featured for clubs like VfL Bochum (74 appearances), Nürnberg (53), and Hamburg (50), serving as a key figure in all three setups.
Gyamerah once captained his side and was groomed at both Arminia Bielefeld and VfL Bochum academies.
SV Elversberg see his arrival as a major boost to their backline as they prepare for a demanding 2. Bundesliga campaign.
