Stuttgart coach Pellegrino Matarazzo has been forced to line up a different team in practically every VfB game due to injuries. On Sunday, Hertha Berlin is also fighting to avoid relegation.
Captain Wataru Endo and defender Waldemar Anton have been tasked with stopping one man: Kevin-Prince Boateng, who last guided Hertha to a 1-0 triumph in Augsburg on his own.
Anton will most likely play in midfield again in Berlin, as Atakan Karazor was infected with the corona virus last week and it is unknown how fit he will be when he returns.
In Hertha’s last game against Augsburg coach Magath started Kevin-Prince Boateng and even gave him the chance to select his position for the game.
According to reports in Germany the former AC Milan player picked the number 10 role. Boateng’s inclusion worked but he was substituted in the second half. Coach Magath praised the midfielder after the game for his effort in the victory.
