Striker Kelvin Yeboah set to start against Napoli

Genoa coach Alexander Blessin is looking at fresh strategies to help his team’s scoring woes.

Two days to the crucial match at Napoli, which Genoa must win to keep their relegation chances alive, the German coach is considering reshuffling his attacking deck.

Among the deliberate actions is the resting of Mattia Destro, at least from the first minute, to allow Kelvin Yeboah to play in his position as the first and only striker.

Genoa has been struggling to score goals this season despite the signing of Kelvin Yeboah and Caleb Ekuban.

Yeboah, who joined Genoa from Sturm Graz in January, is yet to score in our top flight, but he has made an impact in the previous two games for Genoa. Against Cagliari, he assisted Badelj, and against Juventus, he won the penalty for his team.
