Former AshantiGold striker Hans Kwoffie has tragically passed away in a fatal accident that occurred at Dadwen near Tarkwa on Friday afternoon.
The 35-year-old was travelling to his hometown of Dompim Pepesa when his car was involved in an accident, which claimed his life instantly at Dadwen, a nearby town.
News of Kwoffie’s untimely death has sent shockwaves through the football community in Ghana, with tributes pouring in for his skill and dedication to the sport.
His standout achievement came in 2017 when he clinched the Ghana Premier League Golden Boot, scoring an impressive 17 goals for AshantiGold.
Kwoffie started his career at Nsoatre Manchester United and played for 14 clubs throughout his career, with the last club he played for being Birgunj United FC in Nepal.
