St. Gallen congratulate Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi for reaching century of appearances

Swiss Super League side FC St. Gallen have congratulated Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi for making his 100th appearance on Sunday.

Ati-Zigi achieved the feat in St. Gallen’s 1-1 draw against Servette FC.

The 25-year-old lasted the entire duration of the match as he failed to keep a clean sheet despite churning out an impressive display

“Congrats on that stamp, Lawrence! We look forward to many more” the club wrote on its Twitter page to celebrate Ati-Zigi’s achievement,”

Ati-Zigi joined the Swiss side in January 2020 and has since established himself as a key cog to the club.

He has made 11 league appearances for St. Gallen, conceding 17 goals and keeping two clean sheets in the process, however he has missed two league games due to a red card suspension.

Ati-Zigi is expected to named in Ghana squad for the 2022 FIIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The result leaves St. Gallen 4th on the Swiss Super League table with 18 points and will take on Winterthur on Sunday, October 30.
