Southgate names two new faces in England’s latest squad

England national team manager Gareth Southgate has named two new faces for their next month’s UEFA Nations League games.

The former Middlesbrough coach has handed a call up to West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen who has had a brilliant season with the club with another new face being Leicester’s James Justin.

The 27-man squad will have keeper Nock Pope whose Burnely side have been relegated to the Championship; the shot stopped joined by Jordan Pickford and Aaron Ramsdale. Newcastle’s Kieran Trippier makes the squad despite having spent a chunk of last month on the injury table with AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori also making the cut.

There is no place for Man United duo of Marcus Ransford and Jadon Sancho while Harry Maguire makes the cut. England will take on Hungary and Germany away from home before hosting Italy and Hungary at Molineux.
