Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has taken his place front and centre in the headlines once more on Friday, owing to his latest endeavours on the international stage.

Son’s South Korea were back in action a sort time ago.

Fresh off an impressive 2-0 friendly downing of Chile earlier in the week, the Taegeuk Warriors faced off against South American opposition once more, on this occasion Paraguay.

And, after a brace on the part of Newcastle United star Miguel Almiron guided Paraguay into a 2-0 lead, it was that man Son who kickstarted his country’s comeback efforts, en route to an eventual 2-2 stalemate.

The Premier League Golden Boot winner’s latest moment of magic was forthcoming 25 minutes from time, when Son bent a sumptuous free-kick over the Paraguayan wall and home:

This set the stage for South Korea to bag a last-gasp equaliser, as Jung Woo-young got on the end of a pull-back across the face of goal to slot home with ease:

For those not aware, Son’s free-kick finish on Friday actually marked the talented wide-man’s 2nd in the space of two games.

This comes after the 29-year-old directed a similarly brilliant strike into the top corner on Monday, during South Korea’s aforementioned win over Chile:
