Ghanaian winger Bernard Somuah maintained his impressive run in Spain’s Primera Federación with a decisive display on Saturday.
The Asante Kotoko loanee scored the only goal as Celta Vigo II edged Real Madrid Castilla 1–0.
Somuah struck early in the contest, finding the net in the 8th minute to hand his side a crucial advantage.
He controlled a delivery from the left before curling a fine effort beyond the Castilla goalkeeper.
Real Madrid Castilla pushed back and created chances before the break, but Celta Vigo II goalkeeper Coke Carrillo stood firm.
Somuah featured for 46 minutes before making way for Álvaro Marín in the second half.
The goal took the 19-year-old’s tally to four for the season in 14 appearances.
