New Hearts of Oak manager Slavko Matic says he is ready for the challenges of coaching one of the biggest clubs in Africa.

The Serbian tactician was appointed as substantive head coach of the Ghana Premier League giants following the dismissal of Samuel Boadu.

Speaking in a One-On-One exclusive interview with Hearts Communications after his unveiling on Thursday, October 20, the 46 year old trainer shared his excitement.

“First of all I want to thank the board chairman and the other management members for this opportunity. Africa is a big challenge and I’m here at a very big club. We want to make big success and try to find a way to play good football. We want to give opportunities to hungry players and also to win trophies. For me, from today, this is the best club in the world”
