English Championship outfit Sheffield United FC have announced the signing of Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace on a season-long loan deal.
Rak-Sakyi becomes the Blades’ tenth summer signing, joining a roster of new talent including Sam McCallum, Jamie Shackleton, Kieffer Moore, and others.
Born to Ghanaian parents in England, Rak-Sakyi made eight appearances for Palace last season and previously impressed during a loan spell with Charlton Athletic in 2022-23, scoring 15 goals in 43 matches.
The 21-year-old expressed his enthusiasm for joining Sheffield United, citing manager Chris Wilder’s plans for him as a key factor in his decision.
“The gaffer’s plan for me was really appealing, and I knew this was the right place for me,” he said on the club’s website.
“I’m eager to play more football and get as many games under my belt as possible.”
He may make his debut for Sheffield United in their upcoming Championship match against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
