Antoine Semenyo is hitting the ground running at Manchester City, scoring four goals in his first five appearances for the club.
The Ghanaian forward has already reached a new career-high for goals, netting 12 Premier League goals between Bournemouth and Manchester City.
Semenyo’s impressive start has been fueled by his determination to make an impact at his new club.
“It’s important to hit the ground running. I feel I came here with the intention to continue being who I am,” he said. “I want to get Man City fans off their seats when I’m on the pitch. It’s been a good start for me here and God willing it continues.”
Semenyo’s adaptability and clinical finishing have impressed Pep Guardiola’s team, and he’s already equalled a record previously held by Emmanuel Adebayor, scoring in four of his first five appearances for City.
