Second phase of Black Starlets screening takes place this weekend

The second phase of screening for the Black Starlets will take place across the three football zones this weekend in our bid to give equal opportunity to talents across the 10 football regions.

The two-day screening exercise scheduled for Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24, 2024 has been put into Zones to make transportation easier for U-17 players who are eligible to feature for the Black Starlets.

The three zones include, Upper East, Upper West, Northern and Brong Ahafo regions representing Zone One, Ashanti, Western and Central representing Zone Two and Eastern, Volta and Greater Accra regions representing Zone Three.

Players in Upper East, Upper West, Northern and Brong Ahafo regions are to report to the NOBISCO Park in –Tamale, while, those in Zone Two are to assemble at Sofoline astro turf in Kumasi. In Zone Three, the exercise will take place at the All Nations University Park in Koforidua.

Successful players will later move to the Technical Centre at Prampram for the final phase of the screening exercise. The Black Starlets are gearing up for this year’s WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations and other international competitions.
