Samuel Inkoom gutted to lose at home to Guimaraes

Ghana full back Samuel Inkoom cannot hide his disappointment after losing 1-2 to visiting Vitoria Guimaraes.

The flashy full back was handed the starting role in front of Boavista’s expectant fans and did a decent job in the game.

Inkoom was however left disappointed when Brazilian Cafu scored a 86th minute to hand Guimaraes a 2-1 advantage after Henrique Dourado’s goal had cancelled out an early lead for Boavista through Doughlas Abner.

The former Basel man says he is disappointed with the result.

“Well we are disappointed with the way things have gone today but we have to be together now more than ever,” Inkoom told GHANAsoccernet.com after the game

“We know we played well together but I guess it’s just bad luck but we will try to win the next game.”
