FC Samartex goalkeeper Zakari Musah has been named the Ghana Premier League’s top shot-stopper for October after a strong run of performances.
He secured the award ahead of Heart of Lions’ Lawrence Osei and Young Apostles’ Zulka Masawudu.
Zakari’s month was marked by two clean sheets and only two goals conceded across four matches.
His reliability at the back played a major role in Samartex finishing the period unbeaten, with three victories and one draw.
The Ex-Goalkeepers Union will honour him with a prize package that includes gloves, a branded towel, water bottles, and a T-shirt.
The recognition adds to what has been a confident start to his season.
Zakari now turns his attention to their next challenge on November 23. He will be aiming to record another clean sheet when they face an unbeaten Asante Kotoko side.
