Samartex FC coach, Annor Walker expressed his disappointment following their latest defeat to Dreams FC in the ongoing betPawa Premier League campaign.
The home team scored in either half to beat FC Samartex 1996 2-0 at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu on Sunday.
Ali Huzaif opened the scoring in the 20th minute as he smartly went round the Samartex backline to slot home.
After a 1-0 lead in the first half Godfred Atuahene added the second goal in the 69th minute to win the day for the Still Believe lads.
“It is a painful defeat if I look at my boys the way they played today as if there is nothing at stake. Because this is not the way we play I can’t recollect the second round we are playing good football sometimes we lose it is in the game,” he said on Happy FM.
“Sometimes you have to lose when you cant raise your head up it is a painful lost to me you can testify all the goals we gave out. I will say it is football and we learn from mistakes I go back to correct myself and play my next game at home,”
