Salis Abdul Samed has great potential – French sports coordinator Florent Ghisolfi

RC Lens improved its midfield this summer by signing Salis Abdul Samed. The 22-year-old Ghanaian was one of Clermont’s top performers in Ligue 1.

The 22-year-old joins and signed a five-year deal. The defensive midfielder made 31 appearances, scoring a goal as Clermont Foot survived the drop last season.

The RCL’s sports coordinator, Florent Ghisolfi, believes that the new Sang et Or environment would help Salis excel next season.

“He has a large volume of racing, he is a ball scratcher, he is aggressive and he is not clumsy with his feet. He has great potential. He will be led to develop it in contact with our staff.,”

Salis is currently training with his new club ahead of preseason friendlies.
