Sales required even with promotion

Leicester City could reportedly still have to sell some of their star names this summer even as they look a near-certainty to gain promotion back to the Premier League.

The Foxes are having a superb campaign on the pitch as they bounce back from their relegation last year, but it seems all is not entirely well off the pitch.

According to latest reports, Leicester are potentially facing serious Financial Fair Play issues, so may be required to cash in on the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and other big names in the months ahead.

Dewsbury-Hall may be one of their best assets as he’s a homegrown player who didn’t cost them anything, meaning they can sell him for pure profit as clubs like Arsenal have shown an interest in him in the past.

This is certainly worrying for Leicester fans, though, who will want Enzo Maresca to have as strong a squad as possible for the team’s return to the top flight.

The likes of James Maddison and Youri Tielemans left LCFC last summer and it’s surely vital for them to avoid another transfer window of major departures.
