Serie C outfit US Salernitana are on the verge of completing a loan move for Italian-born Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Gyabuaa from Serie A side Atalanta.
The 24-year-old is expected to join the Stadio Arechi club for the remainder of the 2025/26 season as part of the ongoing winter transfer window.
Gyabuaa spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Serie B side US Avellino but saw limited action before that spell was cut short.
Reports indicate that Salernitana, recently relegated from Serie B, have reached an agreement with Atalanta and are finalising the last details of the temporary switch.
The midfielder managed five appearances across all competitions during his time with Avellino this season.
A former Parma youth product, Gyabuaa is viewed as a strong midfield presence capable of adding steel and balance to Salernitana’s engine room.
The move is seen as an opportunity for the player to secure regular minutes and reignite his development.
