Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Season for the second time in his career.
The Liverpool star now joins a select group of players including Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Nemanja Vidic, who have won the award twice.
Salah first won the award in the 2017/18 season.
This time, he’s being recognised again after a standout campaign where he helped Liverpool push for the title.
He heads into the final game of the season against Crystal Palace on Sunday as the league’s top scorer with 28 goals with 18 assists.
The Premier League noted that he “could be the first-ever player to win the Golden Boot, Golden Playmaker and Player of the Season award in the same campaign.”
