Rwandan side Armee Patriotique Rwandaise FC have reached an agreement with midfielder Richmond Lamptey for a possible move.
Negotiations were completed after the player and his management agreed to the attractive offer presented by the Rwandan club on Tuesday.
The Ghanaian attacking midfielder is expected to arrive in Rwanda this week to complete the deal, including a medical test.
Should all go as scheduled, Lamptey will sign a three-year deal with an option to renew after two years.
The 27-year-old midfielder featured 17 times and provided six assists for Asante Kotoko SC in the recently ended Ghana Premier League campaign.
He was also part of Coach Chris Hughton’s 27-man squad that represented Ghana during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.
