‘Running the Game’ Liverpool fans single one player out for praise during first half of Villareal stalemate

Liverpool are currently being held to a 0-0 draw by European specialist Unai Emery and his Villareal side at Anfield.

And, with a trip to Spain to come in six days time, it feels as though Klopp’s side need to take a lead into the return leg.

Diaz praised by Liverpool faithful

But, in what was ultimately a frustrating first half for Jurgen Klopp’s side, the Liverpool faithful singled out one man for praise for a stellar performance. The player in question? January addition Luis Diaz.

The Colombian looked a livewire, and managed two shots on target in the first half alone, more than any other player. And the Liverpool fans were quick to show their appreciation.
