Former Swedru All Blacks forward Rudolf Junior Nana Mensah is set to join Egyptian club El Qanah FC as a free agent after the expiry of his contract with the Ghanaian side.

The striker’s departure brings his spell with Swedru All Blacks to an end and is expected to open the next stage of his career outside Ghana. Nana Mensah became available after his previous agreement expired, allowing him to consider opportunities abroad.

El Qanah FC have now emerged as his next destination, with the player on the verge of completing a move to the Egyptian outfit. The transfer remains subject to the necessary formalities, after which Nana Mensah will officially become an El Qanah FC player.

The move will give the forward the opportunity to continue his development in Egypt and to seek a fresh challenge in the country’s competitive football environment. It also represents a significant step in a career that has so far been based in Ghana.

Nana Mensah attracted overseas interest after becoming a free agent, and El Qanah FC’s decision to pursue him has led to an agreement for him to join the club. He is expected to begin working towards the new season with his future team-mates once the transfer process has been completed.

For the player, the switch represents more than a change of club. It is a chance to take his football beyond Ghana and pursue new opportunities in North African football. His move also adds to the number of Ghanaian players attracting attention from clubs elsewhere on the continent.

Although Nana Mensah has yet to officially complete the transfer, the agreement places him close to starting a new chapter with El Qanah FC. Once the remaining procedures are concluded, he will prepare alongside his new team-mates ahead of the upcoming season.

His move follows the end of his time at Swedru All Blacks, where he established himself as a forward before becoming available on a free transfer. The transition to Egyptian football will now provide a new setting in which he can continue his progress and attempt to make an impact.

El Qanah FC will be the latest club in Nana Mensah’s career when the formalities are finalised. The agreement underlines the growing recognition of Ghanaian players by clubs across Africa, while giving the striker an opportunity to test himself in a different football environment.
