Ronaldo to miss Man United’s match vs Crystal Palace

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to miss Manchester United’s last Premier League match of the season against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils need to beat the Eagles to guarantee sixth place in the standings, which would put them ahead of West Ham United in the Europa League next season.

Ralf Rangnick’s team will reportedly be without their top scorer, with Cristiano Ronaldo likely to miss the match at Selhurst Park.

An injury with the 37-year-hip old’s flexor has kept him out of Patrick Vieira’s encounter, according to The Athletic.

Ronaldo has already missed matches against Aston Villa and Manchester City this season due to a similar issue, and he is anticipated to miss his team’s last encounter of the 2021-22 season.

The Portugal international has had an excellent comeback to Old Trafford, scoring 24 goals in 38 games in all competitions and assisting three times.

The Portugal captain has 18 Premier League goals and six Champions League goals in seven matches for Rangnick’s squad, who were ousted in the last 16 by Atletico Madrid.
