Rita Nkansah gets Champions League opening match appointment

Ghana’s elite referee, Rita Nkansah Boateng will serve as fourth Official in the opening game of the West Africa Zone B (WAFU B) Women’s championship League qualifier between Delta Queens (NIG) and USFA of Burkina Faso.

The young referee who attained her FIFA badge early last year, is expected to bring to bear experiences gathered so far from officiating in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League and other international competitions.

Compatriots Samira Naa Korkoi Ghartey of the GFA’s Competitions Department  has been appointed as General Coordinator while Ibrahim Sannie Daara serves as Media Officer for the game.
