Ghana forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom says he is looking forward to an impressive season with Latina that will see them gain promotion to the Italian Serie A.
“I want to prove who truly Boakye is ahead of our new league season. I believe in God that he’ll be on my side to help me achieve this target of mine,” Yiadom told his club’s official website.
“This year is my year as well as Latina as we look forward to have a successful season. I’ve a lot to offer to both the fans and the society at large,” he added.
“I promise to give them back the trust they’ve had in me since the past year as I’ll be giving out my best for them in the forthcoming league season.”
The Sunyani-born striker was tipped for stardom after exploding into the Italian scene in 2010 and scoring on his debut for Genoa.
Despite a few glimpses here and there he is yet to truly reach his true potential.
