Richard Boadu’s Kotoko return collapses as Club Africain opt against signing

Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boadu will not be rejoining Asante Kotoko after Club Africain pulled the plug on a potential transfer.

The Tunisian giants have decided not to proceed with his signing, citing the need for Boadu to first undergo medical treatment.

The former Medeama and Kotoko man is expected to remain in Tunis to focus on recovery and a strong return to the pitch.

Boadu was heavily tipped for a return to Asante Kotoko during the current transfer window.

The Porcupine Warriors had already signed 10 new players, with the experienced midfielder expected to add steel to their squad.

But with the deal now off, Kotoko will have to look elsewhere for midfield reinforcement.
